Black Oyster Speakers are designed in house. They provide high quality sound through the microphone and ear speakers. The microphone fits into the oral nasal mask and the earphones, encapsulated in waterproof neoprene sleeves, easily slip within a hood or helmet. The microphone is water resistant, and the connections are covered in a plastic sealant to prevent corrosion. The ear piece is protected with corrosion resistant connectors and placed in a sealed neoprene sleeve / pocket. These features help reduce the amount of corrosion normally seen with underwater communication systems, and the primary cause for failure.
